working today to on editing and relaxing. mercury is out of retrograde. but i still feel a pull at mid-day.
i will make this post public in the hopes that readers will reply with their hypothesis applied. please see below and add your application in the comments section. this poem is an attempt to integrate math into art.H0 : µnothing = µcertain = µforevernull hypothesis:
nothing is certain
nothing is forever
what is forever certain is nothing
forever is certainly nothing
null hypothesis applied:i was forever once
i was certain something could be nothing
i was certain nothing could be something
certainly forever could be mine
but nothing is certain in time
time is forever uncertain
about the nothing it holds
over time

Once i was something once
once being something mattered
it mattered if i was nothing
because being something was all that matteredNow
now i am nothing.
now i am something.
but being nothing matters not as much
as when being something mattered
does it really matter?
or matter does it not?null hypothesis applied:

art is true
art is everlasting
what is everlasting is truely art
true art is everlastingbut everlasting doesn’t last
because in the end
we can’t ever see
either the truth in art
or the art in truthnull hypothesis applied:

Poetry is uncertain.
Poetry is dissolving.
What is dissolved uncertainly is language.
Dissolution is poetry.

these are the riddles i can't play.
fine.
but tomorrow.
I didn't know about null hypothesis until today! Thanks for the lesson.
Poetry is uncertain.
Poetry is dissolving.
What is dissolved uncertainly is language.
Dissolution is poetry.
this kinda makes my head hurt when i try to think of one! but i'll give a shot later i hope.
ok, i tried.
and i failed.
math hates me
even in poetry.
im trying but all i end up with is morbidity and absurdity.
nothing=certain=forever
Nothing is sometimes certain.
Nothing is sometimes uncertain.
Nothing is not always uncertain.
Nothing is sometimes forever.
Nothing is not always forever.
Duration(the length of which could be finite or infinite) is sometimes a function of nothing.
Nothing is not always certain or forever.
P(x|y) only some of the time, here.
Can not all be true all the time, can not all be true some of the time, some can be true some of the time.
Qualifiers are not the objects they qualify.
Ok then.
