This enchanted summer evening Pablo Perea, a Cuban native, will construct a spontaneous painting inspired by his relationship with Chicago nightlife and the incredible positive energy and second family he has discovered in his new home.
A self-taught artist, trained as doctor, Pablo has been working successfully as a professional painter for 5 years in both Cuba and the U.S. While living in Cuba Pablo showed with galleries world-wide including Chicago’s very own Havana gallery. In 2003, he made a leap of faith, leaving behind his beloved island, to start anew with the woman who stole his heart- Allison Hill, artist and Director of Havana Gallery.
Known for nostalgic paintings of his life in Cuba, Pablo will for the first time tackle a different theme and solicit the aid of his friends and audience, including housemaster Julius "the Mad Thinker."
Don’t miss the rare opportunity participate in the artistic process and witness history unfold, leaving behind a monumental original painting to record the magical events that will transpire!
